Isn’t it freaky how quickly we human beings can transition from normal to abnormal and back again?
How quickly habits can form and come undone. For example, I can spend a week as a zombie, and whether I enjoy it or not, it becomes normal; the late nights, the fast food, the stress.
But once the door opens and I decide to return to the land of the living, and get back on track, all of the more sensible behaviours and routines come back into play and I function just as easily in this “new normal” as I did in the old one.
Know your priorities. Learn all that you can. Life really can turn on a dime.
